Enhancing the Spiritual Vision

As someone becomes divested by the spirit of their former ignorance as attachments to an emotional way of life, the knowledge of what caused the pain is retained within the consciousness of the being. The perception is then swifter than the emotion which has the effect of transforming its negative content to its original state of love. The impulse to create and define existence is then able to enter the formal world of mind and sensory awareness from a deeper realm of intelligence.

In this purity of space the idea of whatever is being seen can then be retained energetically while remaining emotionally detached. From this state, whatever is communicated through word or presence is then supported by the timeless portion of the individual’s spiritual reality. This has the effect of raising the consciousness of others receptive to that particular wave of divine inspiration.

Until someone has begun to examine their reactions to the world, and more specifically their emotional drives and motivations, they will see things out of context of the whole. The person will be compelled to take a particular position of mind and formulate a worldview based on personal considerations and experience gathered in time. Such people will tend to be dismissive of anything unable to be verified to the satisfaction of the mind.

The inner process of self-discovery is the unearthing of what stands in the way of the truth within the psyche. In the long journey back to reality each layer of unresolved past, which is the body of self, must be exposed in the light of pure perception. This confrontation with the past and raising the dead emotional prisoners of pain to the present is the crux of the spiritual dissolution of self.

Having passed through the something (the psychological and emotional concepts of mind and body), there is now the knowledge of nothing – nothing that can be held onto as memorable knowing. The truth is now accessible as direct knowledge which reveals itself in accordance with the will of reality itself. This is what is termed enlightenment – the spiritual light of consciousness retained within the purity of space.

It’s the quality of space that changes in accordance with its proximity to reality. Outer sensory space is devoid of its original consciousness. There is no reality in the external world beyond the appearance of things. One of the most remarkable realisations is that what is seen externally is not my world at all. We are energetic beings whose cosmic roots extend to the formless realm of love.
